I am done talking about Christmas, finally, but I am not done talking about our trip to NY over the holidays. The day after Christmas we had a HUGE snow storm. My friends in PA thought they had a big snow fall, but NY had them beat with over double the amount.
We decided to take V out in the NY snow for the first time this season. This was her 2nd experience with snow, ever. Last year it snowed 1 day and we took her out, but she wasn’t walking yet, so she did not get to really experience it. We bundled her up, grammy bought a sled for her house, daddy borrowed some snow pants, I grabbed the fancy camera, and even Uncle Eric came out to join the fun.
She wasn’t really sure what to make of all the white stuff at first. She wanted to touch it, but when she did she screamed, this is where I tell you that she refused to wear her mittens. She went sledding (because that is how we say it in NY, none of that sled riding garbage they talk about in PA). She saw Pappy and Uncle Eric shoveling the driveway and wanted to join in. Grammy didn’t have a kid-size shovel, but she did have a rake. So V helped rake the driveway.
We were not out too long before her hands were like icicles and it was time to go inside. Grammy had a nice warm bath waiting for her. (Baths at grammy’s house are so much more fun, she has different toys AND grammy’s bath last a lot longer than the ones at home, needless to say, V was in heaven).
She is so cute! Breanna was sick when it snowed so she hasn't gotten to play in it yet
